Dr. Ernesto M. Pernia, PAASE Awardee for Science with Dr. Raymond R. Tan (current PAASE President), Acd. William Padolina (President, NAST), and Dr. Gonzalo C. Serafica, Awardee for Engineering.

Congratulations to Dr. Ernesto M. Pernia, the Severino and Paz Koh Lectureship Awardee for Science of the Philippine-American Academy of Science & Engineering (PAASE).

The PAASE award is in recognition to Dr. Pernia’s “outstanding scholarship in economic and development issues, such as population and human resources, education and health, science and technology in economic development, economic growth and poverty reduction, and urban and regional development, and dedicated public service to the country.”

Dr. Pernia delivered the 2015 Koh Lecture in Science at the 35th Annual PAASE Meeting and Symposium (APAMS) last 5 February 2015 at the De La Salle University.

PAASE is a non-profit organization composed of scientists and engineers of Philippine descent who have distinguished themselves in scholarly and research related activities. PAASE was founded and incorporated in the US State of Indiana on April 23, 1980.
