On September 27, 2025, the UP School of Economics (UPSE) and the Philippine Center for Economic Development (PCED) celebrated the reopening of two newly renovated facilities: the Classes of 1979 & 1980 Seminar Room (Room 301) and the Galerie Joaquin Meeting Room (Room 302).
Room 301 marks a unique milestone as the first-ever joint renovation project undertaken by two distinct alumni batches, a collaborative effort led by Ms. Ronee Villanueva Juanengo. Meanwhile, Room 302 was made possible through the generosity of distinguished alumnus Mr. Jack Teotico, who dedicated the art-filled space to the memory of his late father, Mr. Rafael Teotico. The reopening of these modernized spaces stands as a testament to the enduring support of the UPSE alumni community, significantly enhancing the School’s infrastructure for academic dialogue, research, and collaborative learning.
