The UP School of Economics (UPSE), the Philippine Center for Economic Development (PCED) and the World Bank invite graduate students, faculty, and researchers to join a two-day hands-on training on Fiscal Incidence Analysis using the Commitment to Equity (CEQ) approach.

This training introduces participants to the conceptual framework and methodology of CEQ, a widely used tool for assessing how taxes and government spending affect income distribution and poverty. Through guided exercises, participants will learn to apply a specialized CEQ tool for the Philippines, enabling transparent and evidence-based analysis of fiscal policies and their equity impacts.

Participants are required to bring a laptop with STATA and MS Excel installed.
