Congratulations to Dr. Cielo D. Magno for being one of the 2025 awardees of The Outstanding Women in the Nation’s Service (TOWNS). She is recognized for her contributions to Financial Accountability and Good Governance. Currently a professor at UPSE, Dr. Magno also serves as President of Bantay Kita and Lead Civil Society Co-Chair of the Open Government Partnership’s Steering Committee. She has held several key positions in both government and non-governmental organizations, including serving as Undersecretary for Fiscal Policy and Monitoring at the Department of Finance and as a board member of the  Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative.
